Press Release – Establishment Of A Permanent GPS for Geodynamic study In Timor-Leste
16 May 2017 | 7 years agoDili, Timor Leste – Institute of Petroleum and Geology is proud to announce the establishment of a permanent GPS for earthquake monitoring in Timor Leste. The event is a joint collaboration between IPG, University of Southern California and Australia National University. The permanent GPS station has multiple ways of application. The data provided by the station can support not only geodynamic study, but also the research in the fields of geodesy, geophysics, GIS and mapping. The application of GPS for geodynamic study is the first ever GPS planted in Timor Leste
