- Who We Are
  
  The Institute of Petroleum and Geology (IPG), estabilished in 2012 based on Decree-Law nº 33/2012 of July 18, is public institution of the Timor-Leste Government, under the supervision of the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals(MPM) with the objective of developing geological studies of mineral resources, including Timor-Leste’s oil and gas, using modern technical and scientific basis, enabling the development of the country.

Iha loron Kinta Feira, dia 11 Abril 2019 IPG liu hosi Divisaun Risko Jeolojiko hala’o sorumutu ho ekipa UNESCO ho mos ekipa hosi International Centre for Water Security and Sustainable Management (WSSM). Objetivu inkontru refere mak parte UNESCO ho WSSM hakarak hatene konaba estudu sa ida deit mak IPG liu hosi ivisaun Risku Jeolojiko hala’o tiha ona, hala’o hela no sei hala’o iha tinan 2019 relasiona ho managementu bee rai okos iha Timor Leste.
